After budgeting - What happens next?

Ekan is now a member of the Beyond Budgeting Round Table® (BBRT), an independent global network for research and the sharing of common experiences. It was founded in 1998 by researchers Robin Fraser and Jeremy Hope, who also wrote the book entitled “Beyond Budgeting®” (2003). The unifying link in the network is a common desire to change management systems to function better in today’s dynamic business environment.  

Beyond Budgeting® is in reality not so much about budget-free management as a new perspective. In this context the budget represents a symbol of a rigid, outdated management model. 

By participating in BBRT®, Ekan wants not only to act as a recipient of other people’s experiences and the network’s research, but also to contribute our knowledge and our experiences. As consultants we also see it as a major asset that we bring to businesses
