Ekan Management supports the Government's strategy for circular economy

The Swedish government has developed a strategy for transition to a circular economy(swedish only). This is a major step that shows Sweden's direction and ambition for a long-term and sustainable transformation of society. The vision is a society where resources are used efficiently in non-toxic circular flows and replace the need for virgin materials (finite raw materials). The transition to a circular economy in Sweden will contribute to achieving the environmental and climate goals, as well as the global goals in Agenda 2030.

"This increases requirements on municipalities as well as public- and private enterprises in Sweden to push harder for the transition to a circular economy and new business models," says Viktoria Sandström, management consultant at Ekan Management.

In our time, businesses need to strive for optimal use of their resources. In a circular economy, materials, products and services are sustained in a perpetual cycle, without waste and unused value. Ekan supports companies and organizations in developing circular business models through innovative flows, service provisioning and digitalization. The result is a competitive and efficient business model, that greates greater value with less resources, contributing to a sustainable and profitable tomorrow, and beyond.

With many years of experience of successful change projects in combination with effective methods and key competencies in sustainability, materials, servitization and digitalization, Ekan Management helps clients to realize a circular business, from a desire for efficiency and a reduced climate footprint, to tangible benefits.
