Ekan at Kommek August 22-23
On August 22-23 it is time again KOMMEK, the country's leading meeting place for economists and decision makers in municipalities, county councils and regions. This year Ekan is participating with our customer Public dental care in Västra Götaland under the slogan "New thinking creates success - we know this from experience".
Right now, innovative thinking is particularly important in the public sector. Money is a scarce commodity and we need to find new ways to streamline and develop the business. This topic is obviously given a lot of space at this year's fair. Participants will meet, among others, Finance Minister Peter Norman, economic spokespersons for the two largest parliamentary parties and the leaders of the country's four main political thinkers in a debate led by Karin Hübinette to discuss the future of welfare financing and what the welfare sector will look like in the future.
In our booth you will be given the opportunity to discuss the challenges and opportunities of the welfare with us at Ekan and with dental director Gunnar Eriksson who will be in place on August 22. Public dental care in Västra Götaland is an example of an organization that has gone from word to action to ensure an efficient and effective business in the future. This has been done through long-term and goal-oriented development work, based on the vision of Folktandvården's vision - Fresh in your mouth all your life.
Education is another way of securing future operations. Here Ekan cooperates with, among other things The Association of Swedish Municipal Economists (Kef) in the implementation of a skills development program aimed at economists in the municipality and county councils. More than 400 economists have joined the program and this fall will start at least two new rounds. We are happy to share more about this and much more during two intense and inspiring days.
