PMO in the West - Network startup
At the beginning of March, it was finally time for the start-up of the long-awaited network PMO in the West. The network is owned and operated by the Project Management Institute (PMI) and aims to serve as a forum for exchange of experience and networking for members of PMI. By participating in the network meetings, you get the opportunity to review challenges and ideas with members from both different companies and different industries.
We're on Ekan Management are incredibly happy that we got the great honor of leading the startup and thus the first network meeting of PMO in the West at our office in Gothenburg. During the first network meeting, we focused on identifying opportunities, challenges and solutions for tomorrow's project office (Project Management Office, PMO). Through roundtable discussions, we and about twenty guests shared our experiences and perspectives on various issues. Examples of topics we discussed:

We at Ekan Management look forward to upcoming networking meetings PMO in the West and are convinced that the network with its mix of experience, skills and perspectives will develop new creative solutions to develop tomorrow's PMO. After tonight's successful discussions, it is clear that everyone is in some way faced with challenges regarding PMO and how to manage their portfolios, programs and projects. No PMO is second to none and so it should not be.
