Riksbyggen on sustainable construction and housing in the Challengers Network Real Estate network

On the 24th of September, the network again met Challengers Network Real Estate which this time was organized in collaboration with the Riksbyggen. The members of the network represent both municipal and private real estate companies, both housing and premises. The afternoon started with mingling, food and drinks and we continued to listen to project developer Anders Johansson at Riksbyggen. Anders told us about the Riksbyggens platform Positive Footprint Housing and Brf Viva. The presentation was followed by interesting discussions and exchanges of experience.

The focus was on how the real estate industry can think new and dare to take the step towards a more environmentally, economically and socially sustainable construction and management of housing and premises.

Three important issues discussed:

  • Governance and management required to focus on environmental, economic and social sustainability
  • Tools and models to help build and live environmentally, economically and socially sustainable in the future
  • The real estate industry's adaptation to future trends for how we want to live and live

The network meets quarterly with new network meetings planned this winter. The participants participate in and propose the topics covered in the meetings. We are also looking for new network participants, so please contact us for more information if you are interested in participating. Since April, the network has been moderated Anna Westberg, management consultant at Ekan Management. Please contact her for more information.
