So Swedish industry will be the best in the world

In line with Ekan Management investment in the industrial sector we are now taking a big step in the debate. Through active participation in the venture Produktion2030 we strive together with representatives from academia and industrial companies such as SKF, Volvo AB, Volvo Cars, ABB, Electrolux and Sandvik towards the vision developed:

"In 2030, Sweden is the first choice for the development and production of advanced goods and services and the companies are characterized by innovative product and production development and leadership".

The strategic innovation program Production2030 is based on the agenda Made in Sweden 2030 developed by Engineering Industries in close cooperation with Swedish Production Academy, Swerea IVF, Chalmers, KTHand IF Metall

At the end of March, 130 people met to discuss trends and uncertainties and the strengths of the Swedish industry during a full day. Jan-Eric Sundgren, now adviser to AB Volvo's CEO and often hired expert in R&D, is chairman of Produktion2030. He ended the day by talking about the importance of the initiative and his confidence that it will be a catalyst that will lead Swedish industry in the direction of the vision.

Ekan Management is part of the continued vision work that continues to be run through six specialist groups:
